Ariel wins 2nd place @ Pepper Hackathon

Our very own Ariel Bistritsky participated in a 2-day Hackathon on programming the humanoid Pepper robot (SoftBank Robotics) in Paris, France. 13 teams, each made up of 4-5 people, participated in the competition. Ariel and his team came up with a plan to use pepper in caring for the elderly, thinking that pepper can help deal with loneliness, and detect distress situations. After 2 days of hard work, their team was one of the only 2 teams that could deliver a working demo on time, which got them the second place in the competition!
